Billing FAQ's

What is an EOB?

An EOB (Explanation of Benefits) is a notification from your insurance company that you receive once your claim (charges) has been processed. This form explains the total amount that was billed to your insurance, the amount paid and to whom this was paid.

What is a deductible?

A deductible is the amount that you pay to providers for services each year before insurance covers your total costs. If you have questions about what your deductible is, please contact your insurance company.

What is COB?

COB (Coordination Of Benefits) is when you or your family members are covered by one or more insurance policies. Often times the charges that your primary insurance does not cover, your secondary (or tertiary) policy will pick up the rest of the costs.
